The fair has been the activity that took place the last week of our course, concretely on Tuesday 7th of May. It consisted on three activities that we had already worked during this course when we carried out "Un día en el cole de mi maestro". These activities were: codey rocky, stop motion and augmented reality. 

 

From our point of view, the best part was the final day when we had to present our work to everybody who came to our stand and wanted to be informed about our activities. It was really satisfying knowing what they thought about our activities and how we could improve them, making us feel proud as finally all the effort had been compensated and with good results.

 

On the other hand, if I had to say the worst part, it was during the first days, in which we were a bit afraid of this activity, as we had never created on our own real activities that teachers could carry out in their classes with children. These days the uncertainty came over us, and we had to think profoundly in order to have the idea of what we wanted to do, and from there, elaborate more a more our activities until they were as good as possible, doing our best.

 

Talking about the work of the group, we think that the most rewarding moment, and therefore the best one, was, as we said before, the one in which our activity was exposed to everybody who wanted to see it in the Faculty of Education. Moreover, it was comforting to see how we were able to coordinate among us at the moment of explaining our activity to anyone who came, so that we could all explain different parts of the fair at the same time and people wouldn´t lose their time waiting for the explanations.

 

In contrast, the worst part of the week was when, at first, we all started to think about our activities and, to make matters worse, we were not even all in Murcia, as it was during our holidays, and we all had to cooperate and synchronize from different cities, having to use some tools such as Google drive in order to make easier the communication and sharing our ideas.

 

Anyway, we cannot concentrate only is these bad moments, and we shouldn’t forget that we have learned so many things with this task, such as realizing our capacity of creating and until where our creativity and imagination can reach. In de educational aspects, we also learned a lot, since there were many teachers who were interested in our activities and from whom we always received some feedback which motivated us to improve and be a better teacher. Furthermore, on our own we had to plan real activities taking into account all the relevant aspects such as what we could evaluate, how much time we would spend doing it, etc. So we also learned how to do it, as it was a new experience for all of us.

 

In our opinion, we have to conserve the spirit of always wanting to improve and the way in which we all contribute with interesting ideas to the work of our partners. Cooperation is also an aspect to remark and the hard work we always do to obtain the best results possible.

 

Nevertheless, there are always aspects to improve and in this week it could be the communication. This is due to the problems we firstly had owing to the distance among us, which difficulted the work as we couldn’t talk about it face to face. Never had we been so much time without seeing each other and it made it more difficult to plan everything.

 

Talking about the relation between this content and the course and our degree, we would say that it is totally related with every aspect, since, even though maybe stop motion, augmented reality and codey rocky are not by themselves related with everything, the activities we have prepared include other aspects evaluable in courses of Primary Education and that are related to our degree. In the same way, with this course we had already seen these aspects some weeks ago when we performed the activities “Un día en el cole de mi maestro”, in which the topics were the same.

When it comes to evaluating the activity individually, we have decided that Claudia, Inmaculada and Elena deserve a nine, because they have been the ones in charge of the activity in the fair about codey rocky and this was the most creative one and with the best results. For the rest of the group (Beatriz, Ana Losada, Inés, Marta, María de la O and Ana Jiménez) we have taken the decission of putting an eight, since, even though the activities had some mistakes the work done was satisfactory. In conclusion, the work done among all of us has been successful, therefore we think we deserve an 8.3 .
