EXPLORING "PLE"
This week was week 9, we had to work on the Personal Learning Environment.
The facilitator, Ana Jiménez, distributed the work to us, making two groups, one group that counted the PLE, and another group that later made the six improvements to upgrade Ana Losada's learning.
Afterwards, together we wrote what the stars had to say on Tuesday at the exhibition.

On Tuesday, our stars came out and explained everything.
Linda only corrected one thing, since we didn't make the mistake of orienting the PLE as if it were for the students.

Our stars Inma and Clau, had to go out and in 10 minutes explain the PLE we had chosen, Ana's, and propose improvements for her PLE and thus for her way of learning.

In this link you can find the speech of the stars and the powerpoint and prezi that we used:

Good morning, today we're going to talk about the PLE.
First we are going to talk about what Ana does nowadays and how her PLE is, which we can find in the PowerPoint and then we will say the suggestions for improvement so that she can improve her PLE, and this we can find in the Prezi.
In Twitter and Facebook Ana always reads the timeline in order to know what’s going on through the tweets and messages of the people that she follows. Moreover, she could reflect on what she usually observes in her timeline each day, but she doesn’t. However, she uses it for answering her friends and comments on their publications.
In YouTube, she follows the profiles of Jaime and Ter because she likes these two YouTubers and watches their videos every time they post one. In this case, she does it for leisure as neither she does it for reflecting nor comment on their videos.
In Instagram, Ana has a very active profile. Not only does she read the timeline each day but she explores what is happening far away from her close environment. In addition to this, she uploads posts and sees her friends ones and comments on them. Also, she uses Instagram to communicate with people.
Ana is studying at the university and she also goes to the conservatory so for her studies she needs books to be informed of the content she receives in classes. For reflecting on this content and it becomes familiar for her, she usually takes notes and does tasks. On top of that, she communicates with her classmates before exams for solving doubts or to know if she is prepared for them.
Almost every night Ana sees the news in order to be aware of what is happening in the world so she can have different conversations and reflect what she knows about it. At dinner time she always discusses her family about the current news.
When Ana goes to the conservatory she has to listen to the radio twice a week in order to do the exercises that her teacher command to do it and she should apply what see listen to the exercises.
In the conservatory, she uses textbooks and partitures to be informed of the content and do the exercises. Moreover, see need the partitures to play the drums. There they usually speak with her friends about subjects.
Gvx is a group of people who Ana meet with them almost every Friday, similar to the scouts. There firstly they read an article individually and then they share with their and discuss about it. These documents make them reflect about moral things.
In the university, Ana uses textbooks to be informed of the content. She does many tasks with their classmates and study about these tasks. There she discusses and reflects with their classmates about subjects and cantine.
In Twitter and Facebook she should start reflecting by writing her own opinions and thoughts about what she sees in these sources, from where she gets the information. Furthermore, for a future teacher who is going to be a model for their students, it would be good that she comments so that their pupils are aware of their thoughts.
In YouTube, as Claudia said before she only watches the videos of two YouTubers that she follows, she could create her own videos and share them. Moreover, it would be helpful if she comments the videos that she watches, giving her own opinion and talking with other people. In addition, she should watch more videos related to her university degree, education.
In news, she should also reflect about them, not only talk without thinking deeply. As she is going to be a teacher, she should be aware of what is happening in the world where she lives.
In the radio, apart from listening and reflecting, she could speak about it, as in the radio people discuss the current situation, it would be nice if she brings to the class that discussion as well, and children will get to know this information too.
Because in the last three slides that Claudia presented before she did everything we have decided to add some other tools that she could use.
Blog is also a good tool if she wants to create her own content and upload it. Moreover, it is a perfect place for reflection and sharing information and her knowledge. Besides, she could also interact with other people by sharing other posts and getting to know what other people think, providing her new points of view, and explaining hers.
In Padlet, Ana is not only able to upload and share multimedia content but she can reflect as if it were a personal file or interact as if it were an online collaborative board in which she could share with her friends.

As we have already said, we understood the task well and we only had to modify some expressions that were incorrect. In two occasions, we refered to tools as future teachers, and we had to talk about our own learning instead of for the future.
This week, the roles were:
Facilitator: Ana Jiménez
Historian / Journalist: Ana Losada and Marta Delgado
Curator: Beatriz Llamas
Translator: Elena Martínez
Analyst: Inés Moreno and María de la O
Star: Inma Martínez and Claudia Dobón
That week, our analyst, Inés and Maló, made the following reflection:
This week we have worked with PLE doing a presentation of Ana´s PLE and a road map. Moreover, after doing these activities the stars did the exposition, they did a good job at presenting the work, because they worked enough on it to be able to understand it perfectly and explain it to the rest of the class that didn’t know Ana’s PLE.
First, from our point of view, the best part of the week was the final exposition because our stars explained it very well and this activity was very useful for us because we learned apps from other classmates and we could improve our own PLE.
In contrast, we found that the worst part of the activity was that before the exposition we had to change a few things of the speech due to the corrections we were hearing from Linda to others groups and for this reason, the stars got a little nervous but finally they defended the exposition very well.
We have learnt many things about the PLE and also we have discovered many apps from others groups that we did not know before and we will use it in the future to improve our personal learning environment. For example, we discovered the app called podcaster, that consists on audios of other people talking about a topic. We think that it could be useful to improve our personal learning.
As a group, this week Even though we were separated into two groups, we were together in class, so any doubts between us immediately resulted, so being two groups was not a problem for the final outcome of the task. we think that we have to conserve for the next weeks the organization dividing the activities as soon as possible.
Some things that in our point of view we should improve is to show more enthusiasm in our individual task and also we should start improving communication because we know that some things are better for one of us and others are better for the other ones and because sometimes some of us understood something and others thought it was in a different way.
We reckon that the PLE is very related to our degree because as a teacher we need to work every day with sources of information, tools, activities, to improve our knowledge and also our work day to day. Also is important to be an innovative teacher that nowadays is a very important quality because the ICT world have develop a lot during the last years and in consequence it affects to the schools and their organization.

The five core terms that have been chosen by Elena are:
REFLECTING: is the action that you do when you over think about some topics that are interesting for you, about your actions, your thoughts, your life… It serves to analyze what things you have done well or wrong and what you would have changed if you had another chance. The process of reflecting is better if you write your ideas and then you share them with people because you can listen to other person’s ideas and have feedback.
THE TOOLS, MECHANISMS AND ACTIVITIES OF READING are the different sources of information that you use in your daily life or in some exceptions in order to get different knowledge, such as the social media, blogs, conferences, curiosity...
CONNECTIVISM (Siemens, 2005 and 2006, Downes, 2006 and 2007) is defined as a theory of learning for the digital age and is, without a doubt, the theory that has had the greatest impact in recent years in online education and, in general, in the use of information and communication technologies in learning.
ROADMAP: is the planification that is done in order to achieve some objectives and goals that someone pretend to complete. By using this tool, one person would find an easier way to improve his/her own PLE.
FEEDBACK: is a reciprocal relationship in which two or more people can help and improve each one during their process of learning, giving them some practical advice and ideas, explaining them what things are good or bad and also, receiving information from others.
SELF-EVALUATION:

Ana Jiménez, who was facilitator, was in charge of splitting the task and uploading all blog entries. Besides, Claudia and Ana were the ones who worked the most in the PLE, in the tools she used, how she learned... She deserves a 10.
Ana Losada García, who was a historian, wrote the diary and also the PLE was about her, so she spent all the time helping, resolving doubts ... She deserves a 10.
Marta Delgado, who was also a historian, attached links to interesting websites. She was also the editor of the speech of our star. She deserves a 9.
Beatriz Llamas, who was the curator, put all the links and was also in the subgroup that was in charge of writing the improvements of Ana's PLE. She deserves a 9.

Elena Martínez, who was translator, in addition to searching for terms, which was not easy for her, was also in the team that made the improvements to the PLE. She deserves a 9.

Inés Moreno, who was the analyst, he also wrote the speech of the stars as well as doing everything corresponding to her role. She deserves a 9.

María de la O, who was analyst, made the reflection on the knowledge acquired this week, the best part, the worst... He also did the part of improving Ana's PLE. She deserves a 9.

Inma Martínez, who was a star, was in the group of improvements. In addition, she learned the speech very well and did it perfectly in front of the whole class. She deserves a 9.

Claudia Dobón, who was also a star, as we have already said, with Ana and Ana were the ones who worked more in depth in Ana's PLE, and she also had to go out to make the speech in class, which she always did with great joy. She deserves a10.

As a note of all the group in this work we believe that we should have around an 8'5, because we consider this to be one of our best works, due to several reasons.
First of all, when it came to exposition we did very well, as Inma and Claudia are very fluent and spontaneous.
As for the content of the work we also considered that we understood all Linda's instructions, we adapted to the time and we used different tools such as PowerPoint and Prezi, having all our images with CreativeCommos.
Although there was some confusion in class, because there was a group that understood that the best were regarding our future as teachers, we did not interpret it that way, if not to improve our current learning, and some failure that we had our stars solved it on the fly, omitting it or changing it.
Finally, this week we distributed the work very well and it was effective, we worked fast and without much workload each one. It was a very good week from our point of view.
Maybe all this is because it is one of the last activities and we have already understood the way of working, of sharing the tasks, we are used to work together ...
